HYPNOBIRTHING AUSTRALIA™ PRACTITIONER TRAINING

If you are a Childbirth Educator, Doula, Midwife, Nurse, Teacher, Hypnotherapist, Psychologist, Doctor, Yoga/Pilates Instructor, Naturopath, Chiropractor, Physiotherapist, hypnobirthing parent or have a background in maternal health and birthing, and are interested in creating a flexible business that you are passionate about, or would like to run our ‘Positive Birth Program’ at your local hospital or health facility, then we would love to hear from you!

If you haven’t formal qualifications, you need to complete the pre-requisite modules (‘Basics of Hypnosis for Childbirth’ for non-hypnotherapists and ‘Introduction to Childbirth’ for non- midwives/doulas/doctors) before the Practitioner Course begins. They are offered at the special rate of $350 per module, and you purchase these at the time of registration when booking into Practitioner Training. 

Our Hypnobirthing Australia™ Practitioner Training is a 21-hour live course delivered in-person or online (over 3 full days or spread over 6 weeks – depending on the course format).

Requirements for online training:

• You will need reliable internet access and a pc/Mac/iPad/tablet with a webcam.
• We will use Zoom to conduct the sessions.
• Sessions will also be recorded and available for viewing for a limited time (should you be unable to be present for any of the sessions due to extenuating circumstances – though we do have an 80% live attendance requirement).
• The sessions are interactive, and we will also have a Questions and Answers time allocated at the end of each webinar session.
• All online training includes a bonus 1-hour private one-on-one video conference with Melissa, post-training.

After attending the full practitioner training and completing the required modules, you will be required to submit and pass the training assessment, obtain a First Aid Certificate (if you do not already hold medical qualifications), arrange for your own insurance (we give you information on how you can do this – it’s actually quite easy) and sign the Practitioner Agreement before becoming certified as a Hypnobirthing Australia™ Practitioner and receiving full access to all training materials.

Upon certification, you’ll receive qualification as a Hypnobirthing Practitioner Childbirth Educator (HPCE), certification badge, your own listing page on our website directory, access to our teaching resources (PowerPoint slides and notes for classes and information sessions, setting up videos, birth videos, scripts, MP3s, eBook, email and business templates, extra training videos, etc.), and access to our practitioner shop to order resources for your classes.

An annual renewal process, including membership fee ($495), completed Code of Conduct, valid First Aid Certificate (unless you have current medical qualifications), insurance, and continuing professional development (10 hours of CPD relevant to birth/hypnotherapy/content of the course) is required to remain certified to teach the program, have access to our teaching materials, ongoing support and keep your profile/listing page live on our website.

Our Hypnobirthing Australia™ Practitioner Training Course Deposit and Final Payment payments are split, enabling you to pay for your training in instalments:

• Deposit ($500) + Prerequisite Modules ($350 per module) – depending on prior qualifications), is required when you register.
• Final payment ($1700), is due 30 days prior to the course start date.

Afterpay and Klarna flexible payment options are also available, enabling you to further split these payments (into 4 interest-free payments) – you can apply at checkout. 

The course deposit and self-study modules (once dispatched) are non-refundable. A refund for the residual amount of the course will be granted up to 30 days before the start date of the workshop, or the enrollee may choose to assign the tuition fee to a future course with the same instructor, forfeiting the right to a refund at the selected future course. Should the event be cancelled by Hypnobirthing Australia, a full refund is applicable, less any materials/self-study modules already received by the delegate.
